PETALUMA Ring No.052603 - Sterling Silver + Sapphires

Petaluma means "flat back" - A Coastal Miwok term specifically referring to the village situated in the valley of little hills backing Sonoma Mountain. In homage to this nurturing city where our collection is brought to life, yes, and yet, more broadly embracing the idea of home. The land and the community - stewarding a deep sense of respect and belonging to place.

SAND CASTED - Jewelry cast in sand, an ancient technique involving two parts. The stones are placed directly in the sand and the molten metal is poured, embedding the sapphires, diamonds and rubies in place. Here we practice a sort of methodical focus and then relax into wholehearted surrender. Each is absurdly unique and so, one of a kind.

Embracing the weight of metal, these rings,  like wearable sculptures, are raw and unrefined, yet polished enough to evoke the coveted patina of time.
